My fantastic dealer informed me today that "the vettes will just show up one day and that its out of their hands". I guess my four phone calls over the last four months is too excessive and seems to be a burden. I wonder when that customer feedback survey card is going to show up...?

Keep in mind that GM has stated that they will announce when Stingrays ship to dealers. Also Rick Hendrick's VIN # 1 will in al likely hood be done with a PR fanfare with GM Execs in attendance. Could be done at BG Plant or Detroit.

Maybe a 9/20 PR event with first delivery of VIN #1 to coincide with an announcement that dealer deliveries (incl the NCM R8C customers) will now begin. Meets late summer 2013 delivery date and a late 3Q delivery to retail customers! Lets hope that next week will see a lot of dealer invoicing.

I won't divulgemy sources.....but sometimes having a brotherhood in different states pays off...as of 12:47 today there has not been any corvette "other than a set going to Nevada to a track and Tenn to a track" shipped from the factory to any dealer. There were some trucks and rail cars (yuck) set to pick up today, but that was delayed..........I don't want to be the bearer of bad news....just trying to keep everyone informed and this guy knows what he is talking about.

Not to rain on your parade and I can’t say how much of this is true, but on a different forum I read yesterday that there is a monitory 2 week hold after the delivery to the museum, for all you guys getting your museum delivery hope this isn’t true
