what is your favorite 80's big hair band or rock band?

I grew up listening to all the greats the from zepplin to slayer I was a big motley crue fan and still have all their cds .

My favorite group had to be motley crue :headbang:

So I ask if you were growing up in the 80's what was your favorite group.

rock music was a contest of talent and imagination ,not an american Idol contest or how many times you can say the n word.

There were a bunch...and a few that stretched into the 90's as well.

Let's see....
Motley Crue was up there w/ the best
Van Halen, ZZ Top,
I could go on...but I'd have to say my two favorite rock bands were..
Metallica
and #1 is Guns N' Roses (was that 89?)

I thought I could respond to this quickly - but the more I think about it the more bands come to mind, so here goes categorized and ordered
80s :headbang:
1. Metallica
2. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Slayer, GnR, VH, Tesla, Ozzy (solo), Suicidal Tendencies, Crue, AC/DC, even Bon Jovi
90s :drinking:
1. Tool, Soundgarden
2. Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Korn
Heavier
1. Slayer
2. Pantera, Testament
Rock :smoking:
1. Rolling Stones
2. Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray
Sorry, I like 'em all. I've probably forgotten some.

Good news is now it's 2007, less than 2 years until the Camaro will be out.
