Looks Awesome!

I think it looks good. The yellow band highlights the yellow calipers. The 2015 Stingray Pacific edition will have wheel bands too. I would certainly have that chrome Stingray badge darkened as it detracts from all the black accents. BTW, your car looks awesome! Just curious.....has your Z51 been flawless since you purchased it? I'm stuck in 1100 purgatory due to the Z51 constraints.

Koch,

I know it comes down to personal preference, but in my opinion your car looks better without them!

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm thinking I may get it and and test with one to see if i'll like it.

Thanks, ya I've seen several places selling blacked out badges which is on my to-do list. Yep flawless so far, couldn't be happier with it. I know your pain, when my allocation at my dealer came up sometime in November they weren't able to order a Z51 due to the constraint and ended up waiting until February :sad0147: but it was definently worth it :headbang:

Good to hear! Very happy for you. Wife says the Yellow bands highlight the calipers too. I do have my "got to have one NOW!" moments, but you are correct, the wait will be worth it. If it doesn't come true for a 2014, it will happen for a 2015.

I have the red ones and I love them. Go for it!

No...just my opinion, looks great without it.

I did mine a little differently. $4.99 Pinstripe Tape from Pep Boys. Put in in the channel behind the Spokes.
It matches my Red Calipers. I assume they have the Pinstripe Tape in Yellow.

Go for the yellow! It will help contrast the wheels complement the calipers.

Just PLEASE stop at the wheel bands! There's a bright blue Mazda 3 sedan running around my area that has yellow calipers, wheel bands, wiper arms, door handles, and trim around every single body panel and grill opening. Even the emblems are yellow! Looks ridiculous!

Sometimes very little is just enough and a little more is way too much.

I took off the chrome badges with intentions of putting carbon flash painted ones on in their place. Never happened. Car looks better without the "guitar" as my wife calls it and the "Corvette" wording a cross the back bumper. Cleaner looking without, you'll agree once they're off.
