How many mile are SS owners getting out of front rotors?

Title pretty much says it all. I had my rotors turned at 60K when new brakes put on for first time. They told me they could not be turned again because they where to thin to do again.

Well now at 66K I am getting shuddering when braking and the steering wheel even shakes some. New rotors just arrived and will be put on Monday but I just want to know how long did yours last.

Thanks ahead of time.

Much depends on how you drive. Why did you have the rotors turned?

Looks like you answered your own question.......about 66k.

New brake pads.

Well you're doing better than me. I'm at 36k and I won't reuse mine when I do brakes this fall.

I'm on my 3rd set at 7,800 miles. So what Pete said.

Went with OE Performance Rotors for the 2SS which are supposed to be better than the stock ones. Forgot how quick this car can stop.

stock for me so far, but on my 08 Silverado, I used slotted (not weak slotted and drilled) from Raybestos. Performance line. those were very high quality and WOW, what a difference vs stock! They also will sell you Cop Rotors, too!

Gotta be something really abrasive in the stock Brembo pads. My rotors have 38K on them and they look like they are worn more than 1/16" overall.

Performance brake pads are highly abrasive, as they should be in a fast large automobile to get them to stop.

Jesus Synner, you must race every where you go!!

I pretty much only track it or sunday driver. 1 set was ruined by overheated pads that failed, the 2 others were my fault for late braking breaking the brakes, ha. Totally worth it.
