Stingray tax question

Does anyone have any info in this situation. I'm from Texas and bought my stingray in Oklahoma. They said in Oklahoma you pay for the vehicle taxes once the registration and plates are mailed to you from the dealer. However being that I am going to register the car in Texas where do I pay the taxes at?

You register and pay at your locate tax officer Texas.

Ok, that's what I assumed but I wasn't too sure. Would you happen I know approximately how many days you have to pay the taxes once you receive the registration information from the dealership?

On sales between individuals it is 30 days. Guessing it is the same, but you can call your county auto registration office.

You need to get it done before your temp tags run out, although the dealer would probably mail you new ones if for some reason the paperwork was delayed. My dealer in Kansas City area told me that's what they would do in that event. (I am in Texas as well.)

I live in Pensacola Florida, purchased in Milton Florida, and registered in Colin County Texas.

I paid sales tax at time of purchase to the dealer in Milton FL, based on Pensacola FL sales tax rate and simply had to show Colin County Texas that I paid the same or more amount in sales tax that I would have been charged if I purchased there in Texas.
