i have a list of things

and I am glad they are starting to figure out how to fix these issues. My local dealership wants me to bring my baby in but, for now I can live with the screen issue, the missing paint and one of my key fobs (starts w remote but then when u push the start button nothing) hopefully they will understand issues better in the following weeks.. GM should have a specific corvette 1800 number and in my opinion step up there game w the new vette owner's. my vin is 1077 so I am guessing they have resolved screen issues by now at BG. This is typical of a first year model. Next time I will wait a year...

I am having a problem with my video screen flickering on and off. It does this intermittently. It happens for a couple of days then will be fine for a couple of days. Noting in area behind screen so that doesn't appear to be the problem. I plan on taking in to dealer next week but just wanted to see if anyone else was having the same issue. other than the dash dimming issue (apprently fixed with a software update) and a rattle under the console the car has been flawless for the first 3k miles. My VIN is 643 so one of the earlier ones.

I'm also having problems with the infotainment system going haywire and even blacing out. Dealer says permanent fix not available from GM until mid February! Anyone else getting this story? This is the aleady the fourth problem with my car in less than 700 miles. Others include repaint on fender, bad fit on center backup light requiring a kit to fix, short in pressure relief valve not allowing doors and hatch lid to close easily. I love driving the car when the dealer doesn't have it in the shop.

Corvette Issues

It's very unfortunate how Chevrolet treats their customers. My experience with the dealerships and with Chevrolet customer service has been dismal. I tried unsuccessfully to resolve problems with my 2009 Z06. The car sits in a garage and is a total disappointment. Had I known how GM treats their customers before I purchased, I would have bought a Viper or Porsche.

I couldn't wait for a 2015, even though I knew it was the right thing to do. Hopefully when I pick up my ride at the end of the month a lot would have been figured out already since it's a higher VIN. Crossing fingers :)

No. I got the service rear end message twice.. It goes off by its self. Chevy in one day replaced rear end cpu and pump to see if it fixes it.
I cant notice if diff locking or not..
.
If comes on again I'll have Chevy look at it again

My stingray has been in service for a total of 16 days. I have only 1,036 miles and have had three major issues. I'm very concerned !!!

purpleRac3r 04-12-2014 09:14 AM

Wow! That's quite the opposite of mine. I've had it 6 months, have 9400+ miles on it, and no problems whatsoever! And mine was built in the very first week of production. It would seem the QC hold was a GOOD thing.....
