Second last day of winter and I got hit

Rear ended AGAIN.....Mid afternoon, .slightly cloudy, dry roads, traffic comes to a sudden stop. I hit the brakes and had a couple feet between me and car in front, guy behind hit me pretty hard. I don't think the damage is too bad, looks the same as the last time I was rear ended, but I'm sore. Nothing serious, could have been worse. This will be the 4th time into the body shop for damage.

Seriously considering selling, bad luck car......

No need to sell! You're car isn't bad luck, it's that the brakes are that damn good that no other car on the road can stop in the same amount of time!

Glad to hear that you are ok though!

Gotta say I was impressed with the brakes, I thought I was going to hit the car in front. I like your way of thinking....but I've never in my life owned a car with this amount of damages. Mind you, previous accidents totaled the cars, trucks.....none my fault (rear ended, t-boned and head on). Ok, maybe it's me..... Ugh, just sucks. Kinda takes the care factor away at this point.

Sorry to hear that. Glad you are ok. You would have thought it would have happened yesterday morning.

fshog 03-19-2014 10:36 PM

Wow.....glad you're ok

NFRNOSS 03-19-2014 11:16 PM

Omg that sucks! I hope your ok! I still get neck pain from being rear ended 4 years ago!

dragon22 03-20-2014 12:40 AM

Wow Sheena! Glad you're okay. Don't give up on the car though. ;)

Meltdownaverted 03-20-2014 11:58 AM

glad to hear you're Okay, seems you must be taking your car to a really nice body shop cause she sure likes spending time there

Camaro_Corvette 03-20-2014 12:11 PM

Car is cursed.

Guy who hit me is showing his true colors....women taking cars to a body shop are going to get ripped off and cost is going to be 10x higher.... funny, last time, the other guy's insurance adjuster looked at my car and wrote a quote $800 more than the dealer body shop and got me new parts that weren't previously considered - that was the other guy's insurance, not mine....because he liked my car!!!! He also made a comment that he didn't protect himself and take photos. Ok, I'll take photos and send them. You want my insurance and info, no problem, I'll send that too...oh and by the way, my car is a DD and I have commercial insurance coverage because I use it for work, so he's covering a rental car...."well, it should only take a day to fix it"...um, no, last time was 3 days buddy. Keep it up and I'll go to my doctor to have my shoulders and neck looked at because I am sore (I am but have not planned on doing anything about it)....

I'm an honest person, just want my car fixed. Don't play games with me, I won't screw you around.

Now I'm thinking instead of selling, repaint the entire car a different color. Maybe its the IOM. Or, I'll go buy a Bullseye target for her....since she likes the body shop so much....

Like I said sheena, I STILL get neck pain from being rear ended 4 years ago! If you are sore, you should definitely go to the doctor and get physio or whatever they recommend! Make his insurance pay for it all. It is his fault!
