So, I took your advice and talked to my dealer about allocation. Ha!!! Don't know if it help(s) but he said that he even told my story to the GM Regional Mgr to pull at their heart strings.

Anyway, he told me that my order will be going to concession Thursday or Friday of this week. Then the order can be processed next week.

What does all that mean?

If you want I can give a 3rd party answer. Either PM me or start a new thread if you want my answers tested.

i don't wanna bother Becky with it and it's maybe not the correct thread but i know that i can reach more people here than anywhere else.
I'm following this thread since begining of march and happy that i got my TPW end of this month and hopefuly drive my Stingray middle of may :)
I think i'm not the only one who ordered his C7 before the price increase and is not sure if he's price protected. So my question to everybody who has received his car lately or will get it in the next couple weeks. Was your car price protected (when it was ordered before march 2014) or tried your dealer to make you pay the new price? Would be nice to get some answers as my dealer hasn't replied yet.

I was at 1100 the week the price went up. My dealer told me that I was on order and my price was locked in. I have had a total since then and my bank has a check cut for that amount minus my down payment. But I have heard so many shady things I would not be surprised by anything a dealership would do. I have heard most saying if u are at 1100 u are safe
