2011 Options

1 Attachment(s)
There are probably some other options that I've missed but these are the future options we know about, considering the extended 2010 model year at least some of these will actually show up in the later 2010's. Feel free to add to the list.

White exterior (summer 09 actually)
HUD
Navigation (rumored 2011)
3.73 rear end
Convertible! (2011-2012)

Since we know all of the current options, pricing and all it seems there is no longer enough speculation on the board ;) so I'm actually wondering what else people would want aside from the obvious of being able to buy the Camaro and/or these options right away or a Z28, or a blue SS. Personally there's only one big option I'd like to see myself, that's an option for Recaro seats like the new CTS-V has (not standard Recaro's as that's easy enough to take care of with standard aftermarket but specifically seats very similiar to the CTS's). So what do you all think of that, and what's your dream option not offered?

For those who haven't seen them, here's a pic of the seats I am talking about.

Is the 3.73 rear end going to be available on the Auto???
I know there offering the 3.23 I believe, but is there going to be anything more aggresive for the Auto's gearing??

What will the 3.73 rear give you???

Quicker acceleration (1/4 mile times, etc) but mpg's will suffer, especially on the highway. You'll have a lower top speed as well but I really doubt that'd be a problem unless you are racing on a high speed track.

Well, going by their past record here's what's going to happen:

Your will save your pennies and anxiously await for the arrival of the 2011 model to get the gearing you want and the options they have bragged about.

The day before ordering opens up someone will leak info that some options they were bragging about were going to be pushed off to the 2012 model year and that black and red paint were unavailable on the SS but they would introduce a special Plaid paint scheme with lime green accents.

Dang man you are sour about that blue option aren't ya?

Speedy1975 10-15-2008 03:09 PM

I wanna see push button start added for 2011.

I'm trying to find out if that old adage about "squeaky wheels" is true.

3.73 would be nice for the auto, but for the M6 I would rather have the 4.10's. Oh well, 3.73's would work for me if they were already installed. Regarding the HUD - I can't wait.

Respectfully - let's not get too squeaky ;):chevy:

whoa!! HUD... Really?? That would be so cool... It's like 2011 is really going to be the best of the Corvette but on the Camaro...

I think 3.73s would be a good compromise between fuel economy and performance. If you want (and if they actually fit) I'll trade you my 4.10s out of my Trailblazer SS for your 3.73s.

Actually it may not be fully confirmed yet, but it's been talked about as a likely 2011 option with HUD.
