I did that on Saturday (ran out of gas). Except my roadside assistance was my own sorry (very well dressed) butt walking 4.2 miles back up hill to the nearest gas station.

On a side note can't wait to see GTA's response to this thread. Dare I say it was nice to know you PG?

This is good to know, but to be honest I can't recall ever running out of gas in a car ...

so, how many miles did you make it again, AFTER the light? :) Might be nice to know in the future.
