Ok I don't understand something. The price break down says the black wheels Q7T is only 495 dollars. In the ordering document it says if you order Q7T you get 2 complete sets of wheels. So how does that only cost 495 dollars?

Yes I read that and ordered that just wanting to make sure I am paying only 495.00

I guess you get a set of spares in case you curb it?
|
What's included in the different equipment groups?

Damn the new C7 is expensive; or should I say the options are expensive. I thought the car came with carbon fiber standard in the interior but it looks like that's another $1k option :noidea: . So you're looking at a $60k car before tax with a decent amount of options and close to $70k fully loaded. I'm guessing the new Z06 whenever it becomes available will start at $80k for the base model :dizzy:
I still want a Z06 though :sad0147: |

C2Q Body-Color/Transparent Dual Roof Package 1Y*07 &2LT/3LT only $1,995.00 C2Z Removable Roof Panel, Visible Carbon Fiber with body-color surround 1Y*07 &2LT/3LT only $1,995.00 CC3 Removable Roof Panel, 1-piece Transparent 1Y*07 only $995.00 when I placed order today for 1lt Z51 dealers system didnt show all these roof options just body colored and transparent.. I choice transparent so am I getting both or just transparent also is the black wheels suppose to be $1,495 or the $495 shown.. seems weird all others $1,495 and more |

All of the other roof options are only available for 2LT & 3LT's. And the $495 for the black wheels is added on to what you are already paying for wheels (included in the price). |

after seeing standard list Im going to upgrade to 2LT for HUD and cooled seats.. suede inserts on seats nice too lol.. im so excited.. |

Same principle to correct QX3, RQ1, and Q7E footnote errors... in other words you will not get both standard set and optional set of wheels. Can't double-dip so to speak... :D |

Q7T is a $495 option and see footnote 1 Q7T "Wheels, Black aluminum, 19" x 8.5" (48.3 cm x 21.6 cm) front and 20" x 10" (50.8 cm x 25.4 cm) rear. 1 - NOTE: Car is being ordered with 2 complete sets of optional wheels. I asked the same thing. As I read it you get the normal rims and then the black rims also.....for that price.

Which means the optional black wheels are factory installed and not dealer installed. Makes sense to me.
And Fenwick, here is the order you asked about although not where I first saw it: http://www.corvette7.com/forums/show...82#post6486582 Laborsmith |
Where did GM state that the black is all you get. I must have missed that.

Maybe not. A moment of confusion on my part.

"C2Z Removable Roof Panel, Visible Carbon Fiber with body-color surround 1Y*07 &2LT/3LT only $1,995.00"
the body painted roof is carbon fiber too.. so to not paint the roof is $2K :confused0068: LMAO :smiling1: |

There is good reason for the increased price for the visible carbon roof panel. First, the carbon fabric must be perfect in alignment, with no flaws in the weave. Any flaws would be VERY noticeable. I imagine this would be hand made for all intents and purposes, as the human eye would be much better suited to detecting such flaws than machines. Second, there is labor and material required for masking the exposed portion and the body color portion, requiring an additional run through the paint booth. Finally, the clear coat used for the exposed carbon pieces is probably the same used on the C6 Zr1 pieces, which is a special and very expensive material. There is an UV blocking ingredient that runs many thousands of dollars to the gallon used in the clear to prevent the chalking/yellowing/fading of the carbon fabric often seen on cheap aftermarket carbon parts. In all, $1995 is a very reasonable price for a very premium part!

Didnt think there be imperfections. Also didnt know the UV blocker was expensive. When i paint glow in dark always have to use special clear coat with out blocker.
But that is the case i can see a charge but $995 would been nicer. :-) |

Here it is for downloading: C7 RPO spreadsheet... it'll help you experiment w/ various prices & options. Not sure how 100% accurate the dealer invoice/costs are but it's a good tool.

Tried the link the other night and it appears dead. Is there an updated spreadsheet somewhere?
