I was dead set on choosing between NRB and CGM but there is something about Arctic White with the red interior.

I normally hate white cars but something about that combo... intoxicating.

I was too scared of the red interior. But I do like the white with the red seats only. Less busy looking. In the end I chickened out and stuck with a black interior, cheaped out as well got the 1LT, Z51 with mag system.

I had to go with the AW w/ Red interior (2LT). Also got mag ride and NPP, Z51, black wheels (and red calipers), carbon flash mirrors/spoiler, and exposed carbon fiber roof. That color scheme should pop and look not only classy, but still have an exotic brightness to it...

What was your main reason for getting the 2LT?

This is exactly how I ordered mine. Something about the white/black/red combo really stood out for me.

TIS AWESOME

I couldn't own it without 2LT...

Better seats, heated/cooled, memory, etc
HUD
Better stereo with bass box
Security / alarm system
Better interior
Dimming mirrors
Carbon fiber dash availability

What's the diff on the interior besides the seat adjustment and the availability of FAY?

I believe the seats are "Performance Leather" vs "Moulan Leather" that is on the 1LT. Not sure what the difference is, but it might just mean that it is perforated because the seats are heated and vented, which is another big plus of the 2LT.

Also, since I went with Red interior, there is more red leather on the armrest and door panels then on the 1LT, and also matching stitching.

Contemplating switching to 2LT on my Z51. But I don't want to delay my order.

2LT is a pure profit center for Chevy, I am sure their cost to produce is $1k for a $4k option package, but despite that I am sorely tempted because I really want the suede seat inserts and you cannot get those on the 1LT...

I am torn between these two colors !!!!! I want red but white is so sexy also !! well good thing GM is backordered right now on these Vettes, it gives me time to make up my mind and make a decision:pop2:

zimm888 08-29-2013 02:55 PM

White is in ;)

I might be slightly bias though. If you want to really stand out, all the time, go for the red.

DevonK 08-29-2013 04:13 PM

White is nice, but would be better if it was a subtle pearl like that offered on the BRZ. Flat white doesn't have the complexity to maintain interest, I'm concerned it might get boring.
