Still 1100 status. The order won't go any farther
until the dealers allocation becomes available to
place the order against. There's no way for me to
tell when that might happen. You'll just need to
stay in touch with dealer.

Thanks Becky. I will check with my dealer. Do they have any measure of control over when their allocations (they have four) become available? I imagine not but figured I would ask. Thanks again.

laborsmith 09-12-2013 04:44 PM

They have no control. What they can do is estimate a time, so if they sold three that count in the first half of the model year and one in the last half they should get three in the first period of the guide numbers and one in the last period, and vice versa.

What today is not known is how long each period will be. If the guide numbers turn out to be good for six months, the 5 months would be half and if for nine months than four and one-half months will be a half.

One may need to read this answer twice but as far as I know this is how it works.

I estimate the total number for this first guide numbers to be about 9-10 thousand:
900 dealers X 4 units + 500 dealers X 3 (not counting the four) units + 6 dealers X 250 units + 3 dealers X 400 units + 1 dealer X 500 units I know that is around 8300 but some of the 900 and 500 will be eligible for more than 4 or more than 7 and there are the 500 P. E. units to account for..
