Getting cold feet

Although I have an order in with the dealer for a non-Z51 Stingray, I am seeing more and more quality/reliability posts. Will owners please weigh in on their overall experience with their cars. My order has not been placed yet so I still do have an out.

stop reading forums, they do not indicate the reliability....3400 miles and not a single problem, my dealer has delivered 14 without any issues...

^What G said. Don't be pessimistic, it's a fine car. Not 100% perfect but it still gets a solid A/A+. Ask your dealer to contact you once they have an in stock unit you can test drive or at least sit in and play with... see what you like/dislike from your own perspective.

Get your deposit back (if you paid one) and get a new wardrobe with a few skirts and halter tops...and maybe some socks for your cold feet. This here is a MAN'S car. ***excuse me*** just trying to reassure you it'll be ok! 2700 miles and it's all good so far.

over 1,000 miles and not a problem.....I just think the "squeaky wheel" is what you are hearing about.........I see very few problems...even on here and several are from the same person..........I mean that have made 7000 C 7s already and not that many real problems that EVERYONE is having

2500 Miles here and only an infotainment screen glitch. It's been taken care of and no problems at all since then. I'm very glad I bought the car. The driving experience alone is worth every penny not to mention the overall look. Unless you were on the fence from the very beginning I wouldn't allow what I've heard from some to cause you any grief.

so one problem and it's "run away"?

c'mon.........

All cars have problems, even BMW and Porsche, I've owned both and had issues with both. C7 is a new model so there's bound to be some bugs initially, if it makes you feel better wait for the next model year. It's a fantastic car that gives you super car performance for pennies on the dollar, can't beat that.

One problem? He's had many. I'm not saying run away but can you blame a guy for considering waiting a year or changing his mind. I love this new vette but doesn't mean my brain stopped working lol.

Every car that comes out will have like 1 to 2% of them having problems.. Some companies hide them better.. But they have them.
If you read the forums you will see alot of people posting the problems they have. People are quick to search for a forum to complain or look for help with a problem. But when everything is great they wont bother going on a forum to say that.
I have had the Stingray for a month almost exactly. I have exactly 2590 miles. Been to the dragstrip 3 times already back to back runs.
I have played with everything on the car. Everything is perfect.
over 8,000 cars delivered 1% has problems thats 80..
If you do have a problem you have the Warranty and the Lemon Law on your side.

Sorry...one guy having multiple problem still does not register as a valid reason to get scared off...just my opinion
