Just a few days later the car was hit at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California:

Quote:

the 1932 Ford’s suicide door opened unknowingly, clipping one Fox-body Mustang, as it weaved through the staging lane area. As the driver looked back to see what had happened, he pressed the accelerator rather than the brake pedal, flooring the Ford into the recently-revealed Callaway Camaro SC610

Nice teaser thread. Lol

Love the GMC truck though.

That's the right color

I don't like the hood. Should have used the V6 hood and then put the clear viewing pane in.

HumanWiki 02-19-2016 03:29 PM

Yeah, not a fan of the ZR1 style hood either... That's a lot of Corvette pics though.

RealG 02-19-2016 03:40 PM

I like that supercharger

PYROLYSIS 02-19-2016 03:43 PM

Next time get some pics of the car the thread is supposed to be about.

I think benefit with the open hood is the cooling aspect of an essentially open air supercharger. The clear ZR1 window defeats the purpose

Its the only Callaway Camaro in existence :) As production ramps up you will see a lot more Camaro's.

I saw my first 6 on the road today...I can't wait to see a Callaway version in person.

Touchy touchy...I wasn't at this unveiling as work prevented the trip. As the thread stated, it was pulled from CF.com

When I get more pics, I will post them.

I'm not following.. I know it's open.. I don't like the design of it as it's like a ZR1 style.. Regardless of if having the polycarb window or not.

Also not sure what you're getting at. If I don't like the one, I'm not going to like them just because there are more of them.

I looked in to the Callaway back when I ordered my car, even when they had the pre-prod pics on their site. Still didn't like the window even then.

It's not a bad car. They make good stuff. That hood just doesn't do it for me.

Someone other than you responded about the clear viewing pane. I mentioned why it was open air.

You said there were a lot of Vettes. I responded there is only one Camaro built. Mentioned nothing about you needing to like it.

Several people also mentioned the large number of Vette pics. I just answered the lot while quoting your response.

No big deal...people need to unwind a little bit. I'll do a mulitquote next time. Forgive me.
