American Muscle Car on Speed (SLP)

I watched SpeedTV last night and they had that show American Muscle Car on and they did a half hour show on SLP and the history of how they developed the Firehawks and Camaro SSs, starting with the 3rd gens to the LS1s. Very interesting show. The Fbodfather Scott Settlemire was prominently interviewed in the show. Looks like this show came out a few years ago and alot of you guys have probably already seen it. But I just thought I'd share it with you. Its great viewing, and if the SLP show comes up again on Speed, its highly recommended viewing, IMO.

I was suprised that the '92 Firehawk made 392 lbs of torque. That's way more than the LT1s and LS1s.

:(

I missed it. I'll have to check the tv listings and see when it comes on again. Oh, but I did pick up that Hot Rod Camaro 40th anniversary edition mag! That had some good stuff in it!

It was done back in 01. Pretty sure you can find VHS copies of the show on ebay.
