In the area I live in Ohio age and money has less to do with it than the weather.
Many younger folks may be able to afford a 65K car but as a second car? Using a vette as a daily driver in the winter is a risky idea to say the least. And my thought always has been you should have a garage to park it in as well (a house). So it turns out to be more than the price of the car.

Is pricing not out? LSXTV listed the base price at $51k today on FB. Do we have any confirmation?

Yes pricing is out,$51,995 for the coupe and $56,995 for the Convertible, the price with all the options is around $73,000.
