See, all my complaining on the internet gets results.

Good to see that Al and his Team are still deciding if this vehicle meets the 'Spirit' of Z/28 requirement.

The Dragon sure seems like a good place to make that decision.

I'm pretty sure this car has a roll cage in it!

Bhobbs 10-18-2016 12:34 PM

It's probably one of the cars they were testing on the Ring.

That may just be a safety requirement of prototype vehicles, but would be cool if offered as an option like a Porsche GT3 RS.....

Those rear tires and exhaust tips look yuuuge.

SpeedIsLife 10-18-2016 12:43 PM

Cage: That's universal safety equipment..makes sense to just run the same car on multiple tracks

It's got a ZL1 hood which lends support to the LT4 being the mill.

Brakes are covered up, usually meaning they're playing with CCB's (The GT350 prototypes were covered up also when they were doing trials with CCB's before going with conventional irons)

Nice to see some new pics. it seems like the Z/28 and ZR-1 are going through testing in parallel. I'll bet there are some overlapping parts between the two.

Cool! Nice to see some more pics of them. Hopefully we will know a little more first of next year sometime.
