Fuel Access Door
 

I am wondering if there is a difference in operation of the fuel door between the 2014 and 2015.

If you watched the "How To Video" on you tube the door is not suppose to open until the driver door is opened. This is on a 2014.

This is how my 2015 works.

Fuel door opens with driver door open or closed when the door is unlocked.
Fuel door will lock when the car door is locked.
When the driver door is unlocked with the FOB, fuel door unlocks.
If you open the driver door when the door is locked without using the FOB the fuel door also opens when the driver door is opened.

I have looked in the settings but have not found any setting pertaining to the fuel door.

Not a big problem, just a curiosity question.

well I have a 2015....an mine operates like you have described above.....and I have seen NOTHING within any of the menus'....which leads me to believed that's just the way it works.....no settings to change or to select.

Thanks for your feed back. I was pretty sure that this was normal. Just wanted to see if anyone saw something different.

I have a very early 2014 and mine operates the way you described.

Basically, if the driver's door is unlocked, the fuel door is unlocked.
