3LT Z51 Picked up Dec. 18th from the Museum.

I've added the front splitter, side skirts, and mirrors with turn signal indicators on them since I have had it.

Oh HELL Yeah I'm glad I picked that color! Nice pics, specially the one in the sun. The black wheels really make the Stingray look mean. Soooo Jealous!

Did you also add the CFM Corvette emblem to the front? It looks like it in the one picture, but it may just be the lighting.....

I'm thinking about adding them to my Arctic White Z51 and was wondering your thoughts......

No, I kept all logos and emblems stock.

Just came in from another drive around town, sun is out in force today and I had to stop and admire it before pulling back in garage. Crystal Red has more the cemented itself as the right pick for me!

I am waiting to be called to place my order I already decided on crystal red coupe, blk wheels, manual 7 spd, Z51, performance exhaust. Been going back and forth between 1LT and 2LT but the more I think about it the more I lean towards the 1LT.

I went with the 3LT, but the looooong wait continues. I figured if I was spending this much on most likely my last car, I might as well go all out. This feels like getting the Sears Christmas Wish Book as a kid and having Christmas seem so far away!

Hell with the wait, I bought one!

Bulos, you have Cquartz Finest applied? or some other paint sealer?

No I just wash it and use Meguiars gold quick detailer.

I had the windows tinted, removed all the badges and replaced the front and rear flags with Black flash ones. Hey Debbie if you read this I hope you are doing great!

The tinted windows and other mods makes your car really stand out. Looks great! What percent tint did you go with, I want to do mine.

I got it done at Tint World .......... http://www.tintworld.com/lnd/car-win...-cary-011.html ............ the Ultimate grade and they are I think the darkest, illegal but if you do get a citation there is no fine if you have them removed or replaced this applies only to the 2 side windows the rest have no darkness limit. The guy sort of talked me into them I was going to go lighter on those 2 windows but he assured me darker would look better and that in Florida probably because of the sun the police are not real adamant about enforcing it plus I am old! I did the headlights with a kit I got from an online store.

I checked with a local shop today (nearest Tinworld was too far away) and found out that 35% is our legal limit here in NC. I'll just go with that although he said he would do what ever darkness I wanted. Years ago law enforcement was ticketing a lot aroun here for dark windows but that was the young guys with really dark ones, I don't think they check much anymore but I think 35 will work for me and give my car a better look. $150. for all except windshield. Thanks for the info and I'll be watching for your next mods.:coolpics:
