Thought z07s don't come in soft tops?

There's currently a 427 Convertible available for the C6...maybe this is along the same lines?

Hell it might not be a Z06.

My guess is that it's a ZR1 'vert due to the wheels (they look like an evolution of previous ZR1 wheels) and that the Z06/7 is more for hardcore tracking (coupe). The ZR1 goes up against many cars that have convertibles: R8, F Type, 458, 911, AMG, BMW...

Oh and there's definitely a rear brake cooling duct as on the C6 Z06 and ZR1.

Gm has said there will not be a Zr1 only a 600 plus hp ZO7 which will be faster then the current ZR1

Obviously that was his first and last post. I'll call it a hit and run post. What a way to add to the conversation.

Ya think ?? Show me.. Everything I have read so far leads to a Z07 only.
If they are considering a ZR1 type ( big if) you would not see it till late in the models year 2017-2018. So as it stand no ZR1 in the pipes only a 600plus hp Z07 Viewable in 2014 January Feb car show which they have mentioned.
Anything is possibly though.

The car pictured above is in NO way comparable to what we understand to be a Z06/07. The Z06/07 screams track just as the Z/28 does.

Obviously ZR1 would come way later than the Stingray and Z06. The same happened with the C6 ZR1.

My memory is the C6 ZR1 is made to meet the homologation requirements for the GT Class for the 24 hour race held in France eery year, therefore when the C7 GT Class version is introduced it should continue to wear the ZR1 emblem.
