Mustang owner here. Unfortunately, the news of the C7 has completely ruined all of my modding plans :D . Gonna save it all up now for a downpayment on a Stingray in maybe 2015 or so. Gonna be sick

I'm glad I'm not the only Mustang owner who also appreciates other fine brands of wheels... then again I'm also fond of many other high-performance cars. Strange... always been a Chevy and Pontiac enthusiast... fell for the new 5.0 powerplant and changed my outlook on Mustangs. But this C7 Stingray is must have... if Chevy didn't significantly change it from gen 6 to gen 7, I likely even wouldn't consider buying a new Vette.

The ZL1 seems to maintain is incredible horsepower advantage, in not weight disadvantage, so I believe the base corvette will not keep up with a ZL1. yes, it will be close. But not assured. The next version up will take care of business. Unless by that time a newly announced Z/28 is upon us. I give that announcement to be no later than say June 2013 for the 2014 Model Year. Now, if the announce a Gen5 version, we are now overdue using the LS7 cold air induction, 520 HP Camaro. That will certainly mix it up with NO overheating issues. Those two will be what my choice is all about. Not jumping til I see both
