dealership

I'm getting it from Buff Whelean Chevrolet

btw in case it wasn't clear, you get to keep the shipping cover!

Schlok I'm getting mine from there as well. My dealer called me Friday and said my car has been produced, and I should have it within a few weeks. What's the latest you've heard about yours?

Schlok 09-22-2013 09:12 PM

Haven't heard anything other than 'once invoiced you can pick up the car.' They delivered another car that day (9/20) as well, it was a black 3 LT car, the VIN was under 200, so it was a pretty early car. Not sure how mine got plucked from the stack and delivered so quickly. Hopefully Monday I'll hear something because if so then I'll get it on Wednesday (have to drive from DC to MI to pick it up...).

Nope.

Museum Delivery commences on September 30. The customer must have a completed bill of sale in order to pick up the car, sales paperwork having been already completed at selling dealer. Invoices must be in dealer's hand at that transaction, well before 9/30.

Nice!

As for the shipping cover I would not reuse it, they come pretty well trashed and I wouldn't risk scratching up the paint.

The covers are supposed to be washable

well everyone I have the car at home and will be driving back to DC tomorrow, first road trip! Everything was smooth with Buff Whelean, they did a great job going over it with me to get a feel for the car. It's quite a piece of machinery, a real pleasure to drive and a real beast. I didn't get NPP and you can hear that but I'll be taking that money to put an aftermarket system on late, maybe before winter if anything is available. John Weber was my sales professional and a pleasure to work with.
