GrandSPOrt Break in and Track Prep

Im sitting right at 500 ready for the first oil change and DRY SUMP etc...

Do you guys prefer dexose 2 Motul? like the 1le wants? or is it ok to take advantage of those free oil changes from the dealer? I think they use Mobil one or something

IS it recommended to use castrol SRF? I found it to be tremendously better on track?

anything else you guys have uncovered?

Also how long do I need to wait to track , some were saying after first oil change is fine? I'm doing a moderate track Roebling Road not to intense ? or is it better to wait for the 1500 miles mark?

thanks!

I wanted to also ask what kind of camber up front and rear that you recommend that also allows for some daily driving but not a ton?

I had - 2.5 up front and 1.5 rear for the 1le

Chevy strongly recommends 1500 before tracking the car. Dealer is required to use Mobile 1 on Corvettes unless you want something different that they stock. If your choice costs more, normally the dealer will only charge the difference.

I just looked at a '17 manual and there is still a section "Track Events and Competitive Driving" that provides a lot of information. 1500 mi before tracking, recommend oil is 15W50, cooling rings for Z51 optioned vehicles, alignment suggestions and more.

Thanks I guess I got used to the 1le having a lack luster manual and most others had tweaked things .

What brake fluid does everyone like ? Wilwood ? I used srf but it gets expensive w flushing ?
