Paint Quality
Not trying to start controversy, but as some of you may know, the paint quality of the Camaro is quite poor. Do you guys think this will be fixed on the Vette?

The Camaro's paint quality improved from 2010 to current. I would hope GM learned from this and subpar quality won't be replicated at the BG plant.

The paint quality will probably be the same that you would find on a chevy cruze. :pop2:

I have no problem with the paint
quality on my C7 |
Hit or miss. I wet sanded/detailed mine this week in a few areas. I was at a show today and saw a dozen C7's and some were very nice (did not see the owners to find out if they were wet sanded/detailed).

Except for the mirrors being the completely wrong color of orange, the paint job was a lot better on my 2010 Camaro. They did a horrible job blending spots on my Corvette. I really need to get my buffer out

I had heard stories about orange peel.If you look hard all over your car you might find A blemish or so

I always thought the orange peel on the paint was an added option. :D

It's in the clear coat, I have personally wetsanded mine to satisfaction , you can reduce it safely, but not get rid of it. My sides are damn near perfect now, using a combination of 2500/3000 wet sanding papers, 2 polishes and a rotary and an orbital. Took 22 man hours....then another couple hours applying a coating to protect it. and that was just the sides.
