Foggy headlights !? 😡
So I thought I had an issue with the INSIDE of the headlight....
I went to Auto zone to buy a DIY kit to clean the headlights since theyre fogged up. Turns out its an issue on the inside of the light itself. So has anyone had this issue ? Do I have to replace the en tire headlights themselves ? |
Your post doesn't make sense...
I thought it was the inside of the light, but it turned out to be the inside of the light! If you have fog/condensation on the inside of the headlamp lens then the assembly is not sealed and either needs to be replaced, or resealed (most people just replace) It's also possible the little seals where the bulbs go in are not closed properly, but less likely if you haven't messed with them |
Stupid auto correct sorry
But the issue is on the INSIDE instead of the OUTSIDE lol... But they're two circle right where the bulb is, it looks like the bulb burned the inside of the headlight plastic I'll post pics shortly But replacing them is what I gotta do though right ? Because the fog shows up at night all blurry and ugly /: |
Halogen or H.I.D. bulbs?
|
H.I.D. bulbs on the camaro will do what you are talking about over time.... never seen a camaro not have it
|
Are you serious !? Damn
How the hell do some people keep them looking brand new? Not use the damn car!? lol |
I had a guy here bake my headlights apart and then clean the inside of the headlight lens, look as good as new. It just wiped away.

Somewhat normal on most vehicles, just condensation that will evaporate,
