This baby was sitting in the showroom today!

I was at Wilson Niblett Performance Corvette GM dealership in Toronto (Richmond Hill), Canada today and looky what they had.

Tell me this is not true and one of the sales rep. was wrong... they said this car was being taken back by GM tomorrow and destroyed! I'm sure it's not perfect but damn that hurts.

She also said if you ordered a car now you wouldn't get it until May, what? Anyways nice to play around with it, take the top off myself etc. Here are a few pics.

Looks great in the showroom. Is it just me or does that look like a different front license plate bracket than the removable one we've been seeing? I thought it was supposed to fit a little lower down.

Maybe it's just a Canadian thing eh?

You're right, I thought it looked different as well. But I've never seen one in person before with an actual plate over it.

Also, from what I could see it doesn't damage the front end. Kind of clips on and you turn a knob to tighten it. So ya, my front plate will be coming off as soon as I get my car with no worry of screw holes showing!

Zimm888 Thanks so much for the pictures- cause thats what I ordered.....did it look good in person. I was worried about the silver not being that shiny, but it looks great there! Again MY Thanks

Np brother, and yes this car looks amazing. The wheel finish looks great with the silver paint. Interior color works with it to.

Maybe Canadian laws are different? I'd think the available license plate bracket in the front grille would suffice.

Looks like somebody already spilled their Starbucks on the floor mat:bellyroll:

I think the dealer is just wrong. Looks like he drilled into the bumper instead of buying the one that fits into the grille. Just ignorance to me, could be wrong though.

And this Torch Red 3LT Z51 automatic baby was also sitting in the showroom today... I was salivating over it after dropping off my Camaro for service. :D

BTW... this redhead was pretty much loaded to the gills... $73,190 MSRP.

Beautiful car! ... But .... Front bumper and front right fender don't match perfectly. Hardly noticeable in this case .... I bought a new C6 in 2011 and the mismatch, (same location), was very noticeable. Took the C6 to a dealer body shop to correct and then it was ok. Because of this past experience I am more tuned in to this detail than most buyers however, when my C7 arrives ... I will look it over very carefully.. Nothing is perfect but Chevy tries hard!

How can you tell from a photo in a showroom, that they don't match? I don't think you can really say from these pics, not knowing the lighting or shadows that could be in play
