how old is everyone?

Just curious, being 29 I suspect I'm one of younger guys buying a corvette. Anyone else around my age here? I can't be the only young guy in love with this car :)

P.s. no I don't have rich parents, a trust fund or some big inheritance and I don't respect people who do, I work for my money :)

26...Engineering degrees pay well.

I don't respect people who boast about their financial status if they did not earn it, I do respect those who are humble about it though. Coming into large amounts of success or inheritance at a young age can fuel an ego hard to contain.

Yeah, internet engineer here. Even the modest ones while not obnoxious and I do respect them as a person I don't respect their money or work ethic since odds are they have no concept of what work is or the value of the money they're spending.

There are exceptions of course, the small number of people that inherit money but then use that to build a corporation or something that shows they know what work is and how to use their money to make more money rather than just understanding how to spend it.

No one's too old, age is just a number as long as you love your vette XD.

67 and being involved in the arts money was ALWAYS an issue. I am a jazz trumpeter. composer and college professor as of having obtained my BA and MA at the age of 62 or so. I put as much time and energy in what I do as would have taken to get 3 advanced degrees and compared to trying to perfect my art getting an MA was child's play so judging someone by the money they make is not an accurate barometer as far as I can see. My older brother always had great rides including a 66 427 burgundy 427 4spd roadster back in the 60's. I always loved great cars but 50 buck gigs and stints on the road never would allow it financially. He passed recently and he always knew of my love for performance cars whenever we were together he would toss me the keys to his latest ride and let me drive. His last 2 were Infinity sports coupes. A few weeks before his death I started receiving Car & Driver in the mail he had subscribed me and every issue was about the new Vette (7) I think he was trying to prime me for through his kindness I can afford to own one now of course it will be Crystal red metallic being the closest to his old 427 color.

I didn't mean it like I judge people based on the money they make, I just meant I don't respect people who had they're money given to them for just being born and then send the rest of their life spending said money without ever doing a days work.

See Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton for example of the type of people I'm referring to.

46 here and A LOT of O.T.(72-92 hours/week) at work went into my C7.

I'm living proof if you give rednecks money, they blow it on silly things like Corvettes.

Come to think of it, Corvettes are built in Kentucky and correct me if I'm wrong, but Kentucky is full of rednecks and odds are they built my C7 too.

YEEHAW!!!
