Touch Screen Protection

Is there an clear overlay I can put over the touchscreen to protect it from scratches the way you can get for a cell phone?

Thanks

I haven't seen this item personally, but I saw it recommended here on the forum:

I actually just left the factory film on. I just cut the tab off in the top right corner.

I bought mine used, there was no film on it.

Thanks for the input, guys!

I made a templet and then cut my own. Been on for over a year and still looks good. Can't even tell it has a screen protector.

I bought the one on ebay and it is great.

Does the screen scratch easily or what? I understand a screen protector with something like a cell phone that goes in/out of your pocket, but I don't really see the point for a car touch screen?

I've had the bare screen for two years, I don't have a scratch on it.

I have kids and they try to ruin everything I own so I needed this.

I have a strict anti-kid policy, costs less than a screen protector.

But for those without kids, i've had mine bare since feb 2016 and it's fine. The screen does not scratch easily and I've been known to have talons as I am lazy when it comes to clipping my nails.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but my screen after almost 2 years is perfect, not one single scratch, just wipe down occassionally with a very soft thick MF towel.

I'd like more of an anti-glare effect than a screen protector. With the white seats it can be pretty bad when I work night shifts and drive to work. I drive west and straight into the sun, at like 4pm.

I think he is talking about Big Mac sauce and Greasy chicken wing fingers. Not glare.
