Order Status change today

My event code for my Vette just got moved to 2000. I have a target production week of June 23. Very Excited.. I should see it by the end of July..

Interesting and congratulations.

This indicates a change from how the C6 came out, as June production was dedicated to captured test fleet. I think this indicates Chevy has a large amount of confidence in the Corvette build team.

Ever since the introduction of the C6, dealers had to meet certain standards to sell one. As of now less than 1000 of the 3000 Chevy dealers meet the standard, so the odds are 2 out of 3 your dealer does not.

These standards include meeting tech and sales staff training requirements and obtaining/maintaining tools and equipment that may be Corvette only.

Before the intro of the C6 every Chevy dealer got at least one Corvette allocation every model year. Obviously that is no longer true.

When all is said and done, I figure there will be about 1000 Chevy dealers who will not get a Corvette allocation. Then we will be looking for the C8, and it all will begin all over again.
