It's like a Corvette 1LE. Looks and handling of the Z06, but without the expense of the motor and what not. Pretty cool.

Now I see what hugger was saying about Camaro pricing...

Camaro EU pricing?

So the Camaro pricing that would be announced can only be the 1LE right?

BowtieV8 02-29-2016 12:25 PM

I'm very curious and interested to know why Tadge Juechter is announcing Camaro prices at 10:51-10:58...I'm not complaining. I'm just curious.

That could be in too. I am thinking more along the lines of 1LE pricing. We shall wait and see.

Tomorrow should be interesting. I think whatever powers the GS will be a glimps of the future for the Camaro. If it's just an LT1, the Z/28 will either not return or it will have the LT4. If the GS gets a higher output n/a LTx, that engine probably would end up in the Z/28.

I seriously doubt you will see any HP bump for the GS but we can always hope.

Bhobbs 02-29-2016 12:40 PM

There is a 200 hp gulf between the Stingray and Z06. If they added power to the C6 GS, it would be stepping on the toes of the Z06. There's no chance of that happening this time.

Interesting

Awesome, I hope we see some kind of new NA motor. Interested to see what other performance components the GS will have.

I think all we will see is the body and aero bits of the Z06 package along with the much wider wheels and tires but a standard LT1 with the new manifolds as the only change.

This would be an identical recipe the C6 Grand Sport and it will fill a gap for those who want better handling and Z06 looks but are fine with the 460HP. See the pics below.

In order
1. C6 Grand Sport
2. C6 Z51
3. C7 Z51
4. C7 Z06

SS 1LE 02-29-2016 01:19 PM

All I care about is the SS 1LE pricing...just being honest. :D
