Z06 Level 1 front splitter on base Stingray

If anyone is thinking about installing a Z06 spoiler on their Stingray, the Level 1 front splitter fits perfectly, is inexpensive, and easy to install. GM part #22922352

You need to drill extra holes along the leading edge to make sure it stays tight against the bumper cover, but you can use plastic push in rivets or the same bumper screws (for the outside 6 holes where you can reach the inside of the bumper cover to install a backup washer and nut... The spoiler kit comes with aluminum rivets, but I did not want to have to drill out rivets if I need to remove the spoiler.
Still 6 inches of clearance on the front edge, so very streetable.

Do you have any issues with higher percent grades, ie somewhat steep driveways?
Thanks!

Once you learn to always take grades at an angle, you should not have any problems... I have not scraped mine at all since I installed the new splitter. Six inches is still more clearance than on some of the C6's.
