Best news I've heard all year!!!!!

SilverTurtle 04-26-2013 12:00 PM

that's pretty darn reasonable, all things considered

Camaro_Corvette 04-26-2013 12:18 PM

Hell yes!

Rayo 04-26-2013 12:27 PM

So happy now

Ok, Ill go for the 2LT trim. Just hope this guide we have its the final and correct one. Navigation price? does any one know?

DrkPhx 04-26-2013 12:29 PM

$52K is a great base price; but honestly who will order a base model? $73K for a loaded Z51 is a decent price assuming it has near C6 ZO6 performance. Makes me think the next two performance models will $85-90K and $120K plus for the top dog.

Camaro_Corvette 04-26-2013 12:31 PM

Agreed, mine is a little over 62k right now.

Camaro_Corvette 04-26-2013 12:35 PM

:pop2:

LS1hawk 04-26-2013 12:58 PM

Great starting point, but I would have to think that if you're shopping for a new Corvette you probably won't want to settle for the base model. Great price for those that do, though.

shockandawe 04-26-2013 12:58 PM

Are prices up on Chevy website?

gmen09 04-26-2013 01:00 PM

Base price seems very reasonable, however it looks like options can really add up quick! I mean thats approaching porsche type price increase. a 50% increase over the base price is like what you do with a porsche. Not complaining really, but where is this going to put the z06 in terms of pricing?

Tran 04-26-2013 01:00 PM

Packages/options pricing added to first post.

Yeah, I'm getting to that point. Just as well when you hit 70k.

Stingray 04-26-2013 01:17 PM

1YX07... 2LT... D30... J6E... NPP... FAY... UY4... G7H... AE4... Q7T... Dest Fee... :dizzy: $67,160 + tax/tags

I think I need to start subtracting... :D

FenwickHockey65 04-26-2013 01:19 PM

I forgot! Preferred Pricing FTW! That'll knock a few thousand off. :D

FenwickHockey65 04-26-2013 01:21 PM

ec1990 04-26-2013 02:34 PM

1YX07 Corvette Stingray Coupe w/ Z51 $53,800.00
Destination Charge $995.00
2LT Equipment Group 1Y*07/1Y*67 $4,210.00
NPP Exhaust System Performance $1,195.00
G7H Laguna Blue Tintcoat $995.00
TTV Carbon Flash Painted Spoiler & Outside Mirrors $100.00
FE4 Magnetic Selective Ride Control w/ PTM 1YX*7 only $1,795.00
Q7T Black Painted Aluminum Wheels 1YX*7 only $495.00

63,585, not bad and in a year or 2 I think 60K out the door will be not too hard to get.

Stingray 04-26-2013 02:52 PM

So I started subtracting... at a minimum, I'd want:

1YX07 Corvette Stingray Coupe w/ Z51 $53,800.00
FE4 Magnetic Selective Ride Control w/ PTM $1,795.00
NPP Exhaust System Performance $1,195.00
UY4 Chevrolet MyLink Navigation System $795.00
Q7T Black Painted Aluminum Wheels $495.00
Add the mandatory Destination Charge $995.00... and total = $59,075

And if I upped to a 2LT... tack on another $4,210 buckaroos. All I'd really WANT in the 2LT is the color HUD. :pout:
I'd also like the Comp Seats w/ Sueded inserts but that's another $2,495... ouch. Delayed availability too.

Agreed which almost makes it mandatory for me. although I may go to Cyber Gray to save 1K, plus wait on the exhaust and pick up an aftermarket after. That'd bring mine down to 61295. Although 1LT is so stacked with options...

ec1990 04-26-2013 03:05 PM

2LT adds:
Subwoofer to the Bose system (don't care)
HD radio (don't care)
Cargo net and luggage shade (don't care)
HUD (YES)
Memory Seats (don't care)
Auto dimming frameless rearview (don't care)
Heated and vented seats (maybe)
Power Seats (creature comfort)
Theft deterrent system (don't care)
Garage Opener (don't care, especially with the nifty behind radio cubby)
Auto-dimming driver's mirror (don't care)

I think it's mandatory for me though.

BaylorCamaro 04-26-2013 03:07 PM

Very nice! Maybe I'm missing something but where can you see the options/differences between 1LT, 2LT, etc

So I have a question, if I'm planning to replace the stock exhaust at some point in the future, does it make sense to get the NPP Exhaust System Performance with the car?

I just went thru it myself, for 3LT it really adds more leather surfaces (too much in my opinion) and nav.

I'd say no, you won't really be able to sell it unless it's local since its welded together and you meet up with someone. The NPP really only adds a second set of butterfly valves and probably modifies the mufflers to minimize drone due to Active Fuel Management which shuts down 4 cylinders to conserve fuel. I'm thinking aftermarket exhausts will incorporate these features anyway, and I prefer louder exhausts than factory offers, so I might as well pass and save up for a Borla, Corsa, Gibbons, Bassani, etc... Whichever sounds best down the road.

Becky,

do you think there will be any military preferred pricing available? Or is hoping for any discounts at least a year away most likely?
