New to the Camaro Community
 

Bought my first camaro about 3 weeks ago .... finally got rid of my 2001 monte carlo (it got me through college, and did it's job) - was debating on the convertible or the coupe but since I don't have a garage I decided I'd go with the coupe. So far so good - I LOVE THIS CAR. I went with the 2LT with the RS package and 20 inch wheels on the front and back. Everything about this car is perfect and the way it roars when you give it a little gas is incredible. (Bare with me this is my first camaro lol) Pics of my old and new car below ... any suggestions for the new guy? What additions are essential or just good to have? I'm open to all types of suggestions

everybody knows and can't deny the mod bug bit them in the behind and left us all infected.. but hey, its fun.

i went from trying to save money to actually investing a lot into my camaro.
but with yours, you can get a lip kit for a start, would make it look more aggresive on the front, then go from there!

It's okay we all started there and most still giggle when our cars roar... I bought my 2014 in October and I still giggle and have a permagrin :thumbup:

Welcome and congrats. Good choice on the color and as far as mods I don't think there's a lot of stuff out for the '14s yet.

Wow that's gorgeous! My 2010 was the same color combo & is still my favorite.

There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

Very nice ride! I also traded in a 2004 Monte Carlo ss, I loved that car but my camaro is on a whole different level.

Plenty! Definitely turns a lot of heads. Spotted the person driving behind me taking a picture of my car the other day lol. I love it. Question - what kind of oil do you recommend? I'm assuming fully synthetic?

Welcome and congratulations! The 1st thing you should do, and this is from a professional driver, look up hyper driving on YouTube! You want to save as much gas as possible when you are not playing with all that horse power!

I just joined and hope to join the club. I got my eyes on an ss with same interior. 6 speed.

I was a Mustang guy until I tested the SS last week. It's a beast. Classic muscle yet modern technology. Frankly kicked the 2014 GTs butt.
