NPP is pretty quiet. It has a nice little tone when idling. But it's pretty quiet. The car is dying for some headers.

When we went to the dealer to buy ours, they had to move 2 other C7s w/o performance exhaust, to get ours out for the test drive. First one started, sounded good as did the second one, then they started mine (now) with the performance exhaust. My wife, who normally wouldn't notice something like this, noticed a difference immediately and asked why (thinking there was something wrong) and the explanation followed.

I like running in the Sport mode just for the slight sound difference. So after having it a while now, would I order it if I were ordering my car?? I'd say yes.

I'm waiting for louder after market NPP.The stock NPP isn't loud enough for my taste.
I do like the concept of being able to turn it on and off.

I sold just my 2009 C6 with an aftermarket B and B NPP exhaust.

The C6 I bought did not have NPP so I added the NPP add on kit: http://www.nakidparts.com/id78.html
It was awsome and open at will with wireless controller was cool.. By default however it starts "open" for a couple of seconds til engine vacuum closes.
Just mentioning this aspect as getting a car with NPP and then changing exhaust is differenernt than ordering a car without NPP and adding it.
My 2015 order is at status 2000 and NPP was one of the few options I wanted to have it factory integrated and then can change it without vacuum lines or wiring and have factory control ovdr it (assuming C7 has similar hookup as C6.)

I just got my c7, I don't find its loud enough unless I put the sport mode or track, plus you can adjust it on sound management, definitely get it IMO

Good call to get the NPP. The sound is awesome. I debated getting NPP as well and am soooo glad I got it - I would have been kicking myself now if I had not gotten it. If you want a quiet car, buy something else :)

BTW, I did a track day at Sonoma Raceway in my Vette with a mic right above the exhaust. See video below. The NPP sounds beautiful, esp at redline :)
