I have not had the chance to compare/contrast those two pads because I go through front pads soooo quickly. Seeing as you have the 6 pots in front on the ZL1 you should be ok with either, really. Most of the braking will be done by the front pads and you WILL go through those much faster than the rears. If I had a preference from your experience I would be safe to say go with the XR2's. More never hurt when it comes to brakes.

TBone, I am writing you outside of the brake pad thread in an effort to not sound like a braggart or an idiot. I run in group A. I run flat out. That is how I drive. HaHa. Obviously I am mocking the RA driver brief., as it was very good, and funny. I do drive fairly hard, but strive to be smooth, and hit my marks. The last car I took to RA was an 08 Z06. No brake upgrade needed. They were awesome, and did not fade lap after lap. Before that I took an 04 Z06, good brakes but they would begin to fade on lap 3. Now I have a 13 ZL1. Brakes are not very good due to pad compound, and weight of car, and weight of rotating mass. My main question is for the rear pad. Have you ran the xr1 fronts with the either the xr2, or xr3 in rear for comparison? If so what is your preference.

I was wondering where you found the numbers you put on you signature? I also have a 1ss/rs ABM and I have always wondered what the born date was and the other stuff you put on the signature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
    Track fix.
